Acceptable Use Policy
This policy outlines the rules and guidelines for using the MailStrike platform responsibly. All users must comply with these requirements.

Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of the MailStrike platform and all related services. It is designed to protect our users, maintain the integrity of our infrastructure, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
By using MailStrike, you agree to abide by this policy. Violations may result in warnings, account suspension, or permanent termination, as outlined in the Enforcement section below.
This policy supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on the MailStrike platform:
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) or messages to purchased or scraped email lists
- Phishing, spoofing, or impersonating another person or organization
- Distributing malware, viruses, trojans, or other harmful software
- Engaging in deceptive practices, including misleading subject lines or sender information
- Scraping, crawling, or automated collection of data from the MailStrike platform
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the platform
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or system resources
- Using the platform to violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
Email Sending Requirements
All email campaigns sent through MailStrike must adhere to the following requirements:
- Sending campaigns to recipients who have provided explicit opt-in consent
- Including a clear and functional unsubscribe mechanism in every email
- Providing accurate sender identification and valid contact information
- Maintaining clean and up-to-date mailing lists with regular hygiene practices
- Honoring unsubscribe requests within 10 business days
- Complying with all applicable anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, etc.)
⚠️ MailStrike monitors sending practices to ensure compliance with anti-spam regulations. Accounts with high bounce rates, spam complaints, or suspicious sending patterns may be flagged for review.
Content Restrictions
The following types of content are not permitted in emails sent through MailStrike:
- Illegal content or content promoting illegal activities
- Hate speech, discrimination, or content promoting violence
- Explicit adult or sexually suggestive content
- Copyrighted material used without proper authorization
- Counterfeit goods or fraudulent product offerings
- Pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing scams, or get-rich-quick schemes
MailStrike reserves the right to review and remove content that violates these restrictions, with or without prior notice.
Account Security
Password Requirements
Use a strong, unique password of at least 12 characters, including uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) for additional security.
Sharing Restrictions
Do not share your account credentials with anyone. Each user must have their own account. If you need to grant access to team members, use the built-in team management features.
API Key Protection
Treat your API keys as sensitive credentials. Do not embed them in client-side code, public repositories, or share them publicly. Rotate your keys regularly and revoke any keys you suspect may have been compromised.
Reporting Violations
How to Report
If you believe someone is violating this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it by emailing abuse@mailstrike.io with as much detail as possible, including relevant email headers, screenshots, and a description of the violation.
Investigation Process
All reports are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team. We will investigate the matter promptly, typically within 2–5 business days. Reporters will receive confirmation of receipt and may be contacted for additional information. All reports are treated confidentially.
Enforcement & Consequences
Violations of this policy may result in progressive enforcement actions:
Warning
First-time or minor violations may result in a written warning with instructions to correct the behavior.
Suspension
Repeated or serious violations may result in temporary account suspension, during which all sending capabilities are disabled.
Termination
Severe or continued violations will result in permanent account termination. Access to all data and services will be revoked.
Data Deletion
In cases of egregious violations, all associated data may be permanently deleted in compliance with our data retention policies.
